The problem with creating a digital menu from scratch
You have a physical menu that works perfectly. It could be a printed PDF, a laminated menu with 40 dishes, or a menu someone designed for you three years ago. The problem is that to get a digital menu, you normally have to type every single dish — name, category, price, description. With a 60-item menu, that means opening a form 60 times, typing, saving, and repeating.
With QRMenu Pro's AI import feature, that process disappears entirely. Upload a photo or PDF of your menu and in under 30 seconds you have all your dishes extracted automatically, organized by category, and ready to publish.
How AI menu import works
- Upload your file — Drag a JPG, PNG, or WebP photo of your physical menu, or a PDF file. It accepts photos taken directly with your phone.
- AI analyzes your menu — The AI model reads the text, identifies dish names, menu categories (Starters, Mains, Desserts, Drinks...) and prices. Results appear in about 15–30 seconds.
- Review and import — You see a preview of all detected dishes, grouped by category. Uncheck anything you don't want to import, and with one click all dishes appear in your digital menu.
What the AI extracts from your menu

- Category — Starters, Mains, Desserts, Drinks, or whatever you use

FAQ
Does importing replace existing dishes or add to them?
It adds the new dishes to your existing ones. If you want to start fresh, delete your existing dishes before importing.
Can I edit dishes after importing?
Yes. Imported dishes appear in your menu like any other dish — you can edit them, add photos, change prices, or delete them at any time.
Is it available on the free plan?
AI import is exclusive to Pro and Business plans. The free plan lets you add dishes manually.
Does it work with menus in languages other than English?
Yes. The AI understands menus in English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, and most European languages.
